Bubbles
Resident
Bubbles is a former pet from Louisville, Kentucky who arrived at the PRC in 2012. She had been illegally purchased by her owner after the passage of the 2005 state regulation banning the private ownership of all primates and other exotic animals in Kentucky and was confiscated by the Kentucky Department of Fish & Wildlife Resources. Bubbles loves to spend afternoons in the sunshine grooming and foraging for seeds and nuts. Bubbles is a very petite monkey who accepts new friends with open arms and excited lip-smacks. Bubbles is an excellent groomer and is sure to comb her companions’ hair from head to toe each day. Bubbles loves to eat broccoli, pistachios, spinach, grapes, bananas, and hard-boiled eggs.
