Paint the Town Red – Jenny

14 × 11 inches | Canvas board
Tempera paint
Artist: Jenny, chimpanzee

Fiery reds, oranges and warm yellows fill the canvas in broad, overlapping patches of color. Dark, almost black drips and scattered dots add a striking contrast, while the texture of the brushstrokes gives the painting a wonderfully layered appearance. The white background lets all that color take center stage.

Jenny has a particular fondness for enrichment she can wear or carry around. Blankets, bags and other interesting items often become part of her daily ensemble, sometimes in combinations only Jenny could dream up. She has a flair for making things her own, and this colorful painting has plenty of that same personality.
