Beautiful Chaos – Ike

30 × 24 inches | Wrapped canvas
Tempera paint on canvas

Ike has never been one to keep a low profile. He’s loud, confident and quite comfortable making his presence known. And this painting? It has plenty of presence, too.

Broad strokes of electric blue, vivid pink and deep violet cross and overlap in a lively arrangement that seems to move in every direction at once. The colors mingle in places and stand boldly apart in others, with plenty of white canvas giving the composition room to breathe.

Fellow chimpanzee Rodney also contributed to this original painting, bringing together two of Primate Rescue Center’s most spirited personalities in one colorful work.
