Louie

Resident

Louie is a former pet from Virginia and arrived at the PRC in 2004 at the age of 2. Louie fit in well with our established capuchin group, bonding with everyone and quickly rising to be the dominant group member. Louie has a distinct “widow’s peak” that makes it easy to pick him out of the group. Louie loves dinnertime when the caregivers bring around each monkey’s individual meal, and he quickly gobbles up his portion then searches for anything left behind by the other capuchins.
