Chester
Resident
Chester arrived at the PRC in 2002 after living alone for several years in a human home. Chester has flourished here at the PRC with his fellow monkey companions. Chester is energetic and loves to utilize his entire outdoor enclosure. Chester’s long prehensile tail and strong grip help him to brachiate with ease and swing from his enrichment structures. Chester pays close attention to all the happenings at the sanctuary and is sure to alert the caregivers when any monkey drama is going on between the neighboring primates. Chester is also known for being quite the snuggler and is often observed hugging and cuddling with his companions during an afternoon nap. Chester’s favorite foods are bananas, peanuts, mango, popcorn, grapes, sweet potato, and yogurt.
