Thank You for Supporting Us!
Let’s Do This
The Primate Rescue Center receives no government funding. Your support of our organization is critically important, and always appreciated. Please note that—due to the generosity of a single donor who covers all of our annual fund-raising and administrative expenses—100% of every dollar you donate goes directly to the care of the monkeys and apes who have found a safe haven with us!
Get to know one of our residents while supporting his or her daily needs through a Primate Pal Sponsorship! By becoming a Primate Pal you will help support the medical, nutritional and enrichment needs of one of our residents for an entire year. Your sponsorship package includes a photo, bio and certificate suitable for framing and a one-year PRC family membership. We will also send you updates on how your Primate Pal is doing so you can get to know more about his/her daily activities and life at the sanctuary.
Primate Pal sponsorships can be given as gifts. The gift recipient will receive the sponsorship package and updates on how their primate is doing.
Primate Pals
Membership
Our treasured members are the lifeblood of our organization. Please consider joining the PRC member family. All members receive an annual subscription to our informative print newsletter Reaching Out, e-newsletter updates, as well as invitations to exclusive “Members-Only” events.
The PRC Internship Program is designed to immerse students, recent graduates, and those interested in pursuing a career with animals from across the U.S. and abroad in the daily operation of a nonprofit primate sanctuary. Our program provides a unique opportunity to participate in the routine care and ongoing rehabilitation of nearly 50 nonhuman primates in an environment that is focused entirely on their enrichment and well-being.
Internship
Volunteer
The Primate Rescue Center relies on the hard work and dedication of volunteers to help ensure that our residents get the high quality care they deserve, and that our organization functions efficiently. As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to observe primate behavior, interact with primates from a safe distance, and have the satisfaction of knowing you are improving the lives of monkeys and chimps! Our volunteers must appreciate that our residents are not pets, are not used for invasive research, are not for sale or adoption, and do not benefit from exposure to the general public.
Primate Pals
Get to know one of our residents while supporting his or her daily needs through a symbolic adoption. By becoming a Primate Pal you will help support the medical, nutritional and enrichment needs of one of our residents for an entire year. Your adoption package includes a photo and certificate suitable for framing and a one-year family membership. We will also send you updates on how your Primate Pal is doing so you can get to know more about his/her daily activities and life at the sanctuary.
Primate Pal sponsorships can be given as gifts. The gift recipient will receive the adoption kit and updates on how their primate is doing.
