Leah’s interest in primates began in grade school after learning about the work of Jane Goodall and Dian Fossey. After moving to Lexington in 2022, she attended the annual Members’ Event at the Primate Rescue Center, where she gained a firsthand appreciation for the organization’s extraordinary commitment to providing lifelong sanctuary and care for primates in need. Professionally, Leah is a contemporary art curator with more than 15 years of experience developing exhibitions, public programs, strategic partnerships, and fundraising initiatives. As the founder and director of 2nd Story, a nonprofit arts organization in Lexington, she is passionate about mission-driven organizations and fostering meaningful community engagement. Leah joined our board in 2025. She looks forward to supporting the Primate Rescue Center’s long-term sustainability and helping expand awareness of its mission.
