Caleb

Resident

Caleb arrived at the PRC in 2011 at less than one year old after being surrendered to us from a pet situation in Frankfort, KY. Caleb is playful, energetic, and extremely loving. He loves splashing in his pool on warm summer days and enticing his “big sister” Breanna to chase and play with him. When he needs a cuddle, this pair will spend hours grooming and sitting together, often falling asleep near each other in the gentle afternoon sun. Caleb has an impressive set of pouches inside his mouth where he is able to store huge amounts of fruits, veggies, nuts, and seeds, making him look like a little chipmunk after a meal. Caleb loves to forage for treats in his forage pool, and popcorn and peanuts are a few of his favorite snacks.

A Sunny Winter’s Day at the Sanctuary

We're so thankful for these past few sunny days at the sanctuary! We still have snow on the  ground, but so many of the primates spent time out in the sunshine this weekend! Check out the video for some scenes from the sanctuary on a sunny winter's day.
